While the levels of air pollution decreased over China in the last few years of the COVID-19 pandemic, outbreaks of air pollution darken the skies and created a haze in some areas. The Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) or NASA – National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s Terra satellite acquired this natural-color image of northeastern China on January 3, 2022. So much gray haze hangs over valleys and other low-lying areas such as farmland, lakes, and other features that would normally be visible.
Scientists reported that this gray haze is very unhealthy and hazardous. The PM2.5 air quality levels were several times higher than the World Health Organization’s recommended limit of an average of 15 micrograms averaged over a day! Air pollution is very unhealthy for us and we all could die because of the dangerous carbon monoxide people are inhaling in that deadly condition. Let’s all collaborate and fight together to bring a CHANGE!
Let’s start by doing the right thing which is stopping pollution for LIFE! Remeber, there is no Planet B.
