Trivia time!! What battery does a cellphone use? Answer: a lithium-ion battery
Cellphones go through a manufacturing process that is not very environmentally friendly! First, they extract very rare materials from deep inside the earth! Then they mine the product and take it to a facility. There, the cellphone is made and sent to technology companies such as Microsoft. Many people just use their cellphones and throw them away! That just means that you will cause severe environmental damage and cause more material to be mined from the earth! According to Joe Biden, he is requesting everyone around the USA to fix their broken cellphones to help our planet. This way, we can limit the number of minings just to make a small little smartphone. If you can’t fix your smartphone, give it to companies that can fix or recycle them properly. It’s for a great cause! Please do not throw away your used cellphones and have them fixed to prevent our earth from destruction!
Please do make the earth a better place for generations to come!!!
