How are the Philippines πŸ‡΅πŸ‡ are reducing the number of tourists to save the oceans and the environment?

By Kids of RMB

Overtourism is a huge problem around the world! So much that it can pollute the ocean! Most tourists harm wildlife just to get a small selfie! This is a huge problem around the world and the Philippines πŸ‡΅πŸ‡ decided to help as nature started suffering so much!

First, they had closed down every bay or beach so no tourists visit the area! Second, they cleaned their beaches and removed trash so the ocean animals could live in peace! They also created a sewage system so the sewage wouldn’t go to the ocean and pollute the environment. They removed some buildings to place more sand in their area! People went on fewer boats to further clean the area! The government replaced diesel tricycles with electric tricycles! Also, they limited the number of tourists to protect our environment! This is an awesome method to protect our wildlife!

Please do make the earth a better place to live for our future generations to come!
