Let’s talk about a guy named William Kamkwamba!

William is a Malawian inventor who was born in 1987 in Katanga, Malawi. At the age of 13 years, he was kicked out of his school and his family didn’t have enough money to power the house and for the school fees! So he snuck into his school library 📚 and secretly read a book & learned how to build windmills! But he didn’t have money to buy the necessary parts! So he used trash and tires to build a windmill to power his family’s house! Thanks to William, his family does not have to pay for the electricity ⚡️!

If we build windmills to power every home 🏠 we can reduce the use of power plants to make earth 🌍 a better place to live for our future generations to come!
