Let’s talk about the African climate!

By Kids of RMB

So we all know that the Sahara desert is the biggest desert in the world right? But there are many other small deserts that make up most of Africa! Can you guess how these hot deserts were formed! That’s right, pollution & climate change. Due to pollution, the greenhouse gases are trapping more Sunlight making Earth hotter every single year! Due to the extreme & excessive heat, most of the African fertile land was turned into the desert! There is only a small portion of fertile land left in Africa but, that is being turned into a Desert as well! This process is called Desertification where land is turned into desert 🌵! All of the water evaporated except the oasis’s which are 100s of miles away from African cities! Many people in Africa are dying and are in extreme poverty! The water source ran out in many countries and it is up to us to reduce global warming to help these African people!

Please do make the earth a better place to live for our future generations to come!!!
