What is Acid rain?

By Kids of RMB

So what in the world is acid rain even? Acid rain is basically rain which is formed from Pollution! The CO2 which is released from us acidifies the water droplets in the clouds and makes the water acidic. Then when the Acid rain falls down, it damages so much property because it is Acid! It kills many trees 🌳 damages so much property and kills dozens of animals. What components are in acid rain anyway? Let’s find out together! The acid in acid rain is called Sulfuric & Nitric acid! This acid is not only fallen as rain, it can also be in snow, hail, sleet, or even dust! Acid rain even contaminates the soil making it infertile for plants to grow in that area!

How do we stop the dangerous acid rain? Like I mentioned, acid rain is formed by the pollution that we cause. If we can limit the use of gas, coal, and natural gas, we can limit the rarity of acid rain spawning! This can make acid rain very rare to spawn! So if we stop pollution, then we can stop acid rain!

Please do make the earth a better place to live for generations to come!
