What will happen if we continue to throw used batteries in the trash?

By Kids of RMB

So if we never even knew about used batteries and continue to throw them away in the trash, we would be in extreme danger! The soil would be contaminated too much and many plants would die! There are more than 2 trillion trees on earth that would die because of different kinds of pollution we are doing including throwing batteries! Also, the water would become toxic and many animals would become extinct due to toxic chemicals! The fires which are caused by batteries can release hundreds of pounds of C02 which will damage our environment and cause billions of dollars worth of damage! Our earth would turn into a toxic planet years later!

So recycle your used batteries for a better tomorrow! Only you can make a difference! When you know that we should recycle our used plastic bottles, it’s time for every one of us to know that we should recycle our used batteries as well which are even more dangerous and can cause billions of dollars worth of damage with just one battery 🔋!
