February of 2022 was the 7th warmest on record!

By Kids of RMB

Antarctic sea ice coverage shrank to a record low level!

The world started its relatively warmer temperatures with February ranking as the 7th warmest Feb in the climate record! I live in Edison, NJ, and temperatures went up to the mid-70s when the temperature expectation here is around 60 F! This is a huge difference! December – February was an extremely warm season for the planet according to scientists from NOAA’s National center for environmental information! Here is some more info provided by NOAA:

The February global land and ocean surface temperature was 1.46 degrees F (0.81 of a degree C) above the 20th-century average, ranking as the seventh-warmest February in the climate record. – NOAA scientists!

This is very bad because temperatures are constantly on the rise because of our actions! Let’s stop our pollution and climate actions right now for a brighter future! Let’s stop and take action right now! Remember, we are sharing our Earth and don’t own it!
