Greenland’s ice sheet may halve by the year 3000!

By Kids of RMB

One of the biggest effects of climate change is the rise in sea levels. This is occurring due to global warming and the ice sheets in the Arctic, Greenland, etc are melting rapidly! As the sea levels rise, more and more big cities and municipalities like New York and Hong Kong would be flooded and would become inhabitable for life. This would cause so much pollution and contribute to dirty waters etc.

Data shows that if we keep this pollution the same way do the next 1000+ years, Greenland which is a huge ice sheet would split in half! This would contribute to high sea levels and flood coastal areas worldwide! Scientists are still studying the melting Greenland ice sheets and are recommending people to stop pollution and global warming so we could stop over-flooding! Let’s stop pollution to make our beloved earth a better place to live!! There is no Planet B and it’s time to CHANGE now.
