Let’s talk about the World of Change in Global Temperatures!

By Kids of RMB

Air temperatures on earth have been rising since the Industrial revolution began! While natural variability plays some part, the preponderance of evidence indicates that human activities particularly emissions of heat-trapping greenhouse gases are mostly responsible for making our earth warmer!

The industrial revelation began in the late 1700s when People accidentally discovered oil! Then they started discovering more useful fossil fuels such as Natural gas and coal! Coal was the #1 fossil fuel that was used in homes and factories and trains in the 1800s. After that, people shifted to petroleum and natural gas and didn’t worry that much about coal anymore.

According to scientists, the temperature rose 1.9 F since 1880. The temperature is constantly rising and it is rising 0.15 to 0.20 degrees Fahrenheit per decade! As a result, heat waves are continuously baking our Mother Earth and causing deadly droughts and causing desertification!

Let’s stop our cruel behavior on our earth and turn eco-friendly so we could make our earth’s future even more peaceful! As I always say, there is no Planet B! We have to change our behavior and do something now! Let’s make Mother Earth a better place to live for our future generations to come!
