Strongest Arctic Cyclone on Record Led to Surprising Loss of Sea Ice!

By Kids of RMB

Global Warming and Climate Change are responsible for all of the lost ice in the Arctic Ocean! Because of the loss of sea ice, its impacting ecological, economic, and climate impacts.

A warming environment is causing a decrease in ocean ice in the Cold Sea, where the loss of ocean ice has significant biological, monetary, and environmental influences. On top of this drawn-out shift because of environmental change are climate occasions that influence the ocean ice from one multi-week to another.

An arctic cyclone which was reported to be the strongest cyclone struck in Jan of 2022 northeast of Greenland. A new study which was led by the University of Washington shows that ice was severely impacted during the weather of that storm!

We need to stop global warming to stop these kinds of major issues from occurring to make our earth a better place to live for future generations to come! Only you can make a difference and if we don’t act now, we won’t see a tomorrow!
