Why is burning trash super harmful?

By Kids of RMB

A lot of farmers and people around the world sometimes have trash! So they burn their trash up and it’s a common practice in some countries’ landfills. Some types of trash have very toxic chemicals which will basically go into our atmosphere if burned! Toxic gases emit and pollute our air! Polluted air can be inhaled by humans and animals and they can get so many diseases such as asthma, cancer, lung disease, etc. Also, this toxic air will deposit in the soil, water and slowly they will damage plants!

According to a recent study, trash fires produce 2988 pounds of CO2 per hour! So please do not burn trash because you may think it is a small thing but, it is actually a bigger problem than you can think! Just think about the 100’s of people and animals dying just from burning the trash!

Please do make the earth a better place to live for our future generations to come!!! Only you can make a difference!
