Emergency! Sea Levels to Rise up to a foot by 2050! Scientific Report Finds!

By Kids of RMB

Coastal flooding will increase significantly over the next 30 years because of a sea-level rise according to a report created by an interagency sea level task force which includes NASA, NOAA, and many other federal agencies! This report concludes that sea levels among US coastlines will rise between 10 to 12 inches on average by 2050! This all is being caused by Global Warming! Because of all the billions of pounds of CO2, Methane, and Carbon Monoxide we are releasing into the air, it is starting to melt big ice bodies such as Antarctica and the Arctic! Since 1980, the Arctic melted so much!

This report supports previous studies and sea levels are continuing to rise at an alarming rate endangering communities around the world! If we don’t act now, the biggest ice bodies could melt away due to extreme heat and flood most of the places by 2050. Antarctica recently recorded its highest temperature which is 64 Degrees Fahrenheit which is not meant to be in a cold place like Antarctica!

Let’s hope that we stop pollution and global warming so temperatures can go back to normal! Please do make our beloved earth a better place to live! As I always say, there is no Planet B! We need to make sure that our future generations enjoy life as we are doing now.
