Most effective Climate Change solutions!

By Kids of RMB

Today we are going to talk about the most effective Climate Change solutions that can help head off the worst effects of global warming which leaders should consider as part of COP26 – UN Climate Change Conference!

Renewable Energy: Scientists are agreeing to avoid the most catastrophic effects of climate change! Nations must immediately move away from dirty and non-renewable energy sources like coal and natural gas. Instead of fossil fuels, we should use wind, solar, or nuclear power to be eco-friendly!

Refrigerants: Making refrigerants like air containers is most efficient for climate change! They can eliminate a full degree Celsius by 2100! That is a lot of heat!

Transportation: Around the entire world, many Governments are focusing on limiting the 1 biggest source of pollution: Transportation! These releases so much Carbon Monoxide which is dangerous for our environment! We should convert to solar-powered or electric cars to help our environment! Some popular car companies such as BMW and Honda etc are making electric cars and pricing them at a very low price than normal cars!

Methane emissions: We have read that we have to fight against CO2 right? But, methane is 10x better at warming the earth than CO2! We would have to halt methane because of climate change!

Agriculture: Efforts to limit global warming often target fossil fuels, but cutting greenhouse gases from food production is urgent too! Agriculture can release so many gases eventually for global warming to occur!

Nature conservation: Scientists agree that reversing biodiversity loss is a crucial way to slow down climate change! Protecting and restoring nature can help cool the planet or about how Indigenous communities could lead the way.

Carbon capture: Eliminating emissions alone may not be enough to avoid some of the worst effects of climate change, so some companies are investing in technology that sucks carbon dioxide out of the air.
