Physical changes of birds in Amazon’s!

By Kids of RMB

Today we are going to talk about the bird’s physical changes in the Amazon’s!

The most pristine parts of the Amazon rainforest devoid of direct human contact are being impacted by human-induced climate change according to scientists at Louisiana State University. New data analysis collected over the past 4 decades shows that not only has the number of birds 🦅 through the Amazon declined but, their body sizes and wing length have changed for most studied species! These changes in the birds track increasingly hot and dry conditions in the dry season in the Amazon which is from June to November!

In the middle of the Amazon rainforest, we are seeing the effects of climate change! Bush-fires are burning in the Amazon and killing millions of trees! Amazon also provides 30% of the world’s O2! So let’s preserve birds and the Amazon and stop climate change to make our earth a better place to live!!

Remember, only WE can change and not anyone else! It can be a small change like not throwing plastic in the trash, recycling batteries, or switching off the lights when you are not using it to save electricity!

Let’s make Mother Earth a better place to live for our future generations to come!
