By Kids of RMB

A chemist from the University of Guelph discovered a way to turn the greenhouse gas methane into methanol. This amazing discovery could help stop global warming and also create useful products as well!

Presently Dr. Aicheng Chen, a teacher in the School of Designing and Actual Sciences, desires to work with industry accomplices to put up his nano-based substance impetus for sale to the public. The College’s Exploration Development Office has applied for a patent.

Chen and his research team from the university published their work in the Journal of Materials Chemistry A.

The team hopes to solve the industrial and environmental problems with their solution! Let’s hope that solutions like these, will make our Earth a better place to live for future generations to come.
