Here’s How:
A new study by a team of scientists and policy analysts from across the nation suggests that there are multiple pathways to achieving this goal. Big commitments will have to be made to achieve this goal.
“This study should give policymakers and other energy stakeholders some comfort level by showing that everybody in the field is pointing the exact same direction. The case for clean energy is very strong and a recent study shows that the 2030 goal can be achieved” said Nikit Abhyankar, who is one of the study’s authors and a scientist in the Electricity Markets & Policy Department at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. He says that urgent actions will double the number of electric vehicles being doubled.
With the right policies and infrastructure, we could reduce our emissions, while saving consumers billions of dollars and generating new employment. Let’s hope that we will be able to achieve this target by 2030 and make our earth a better place to live for our future generations to come.
