What are Air-Ink pens?

By Kids of RMB

Today we are going to talk about a great invention that’s tough to believe. Air-Ink pens!

The air we breathe is full of poison because of all the pollution we emit from our methods of transportation! But these people named Anirudh Sharma and Nikhil Kaushik founders of AIR-INK believe that we can turn car exhaust into something useful!

Remember in one of my posts last week, we talked about how we should add Singapore’s method of clean disposal into cars! That is what exactly, Anirudh Sharma and Nikhil Kaushik are doing! They placed a cartridge similar to the one found in printers in the cars to collect the carbon soot from the car’s exhaust! Next, the AIR-INK team removes toxins such as heavy metals and all which is left is raw carbon. And then that carbon is processed into high-quality black ink and sold in a pen-like container. This is the first-ever environmentally friendly pen! Each pen of AIR-INK contains 40 to 50 mins of car pollution which is amazing!

We need more inventors like these to reduce climate change to make our earth a better place to live! Let’s give them a big round of applause and hope others would get motivated to come with similar kinds of products.
