What happens if the entire Amazon rainforest disappears?

By Kids of RMB

Let’s find out what happens when the entire Amazon rainforest disappears!

Because of our actions, global warming is slowly killing the Amazon rainforest! Let’s talk about what would happen if the Amazon Rainforest disappeared! Amazon removes 2 billion tons of CO2 every year! As the rainforest has 20% of the trees, the atmosphere would become dirtier and poisonous gases would go into the atmosphere! Trees play an important role in rain patterns as well! Without Amazon, rain would stop and hot and dry droughts would kill all the species! Most importantly, climate change would be unstoppable and all of the poisonous gases would continue entering our atmosphere and slowly kill humans as well! Let’s hope that we preserve the Amazon Rainforest so this all wouldn’t happen!

Please do make the earth a better place to live for our future generations to come!!!
